Sudanese Refugees in Kyangwali Settlement in Uganda held grand joint Easter celebrations last Sunday.
The believers who gathered in their hundreds from the Roman Catholic And Protestant churches came together to jointly celebrate Easter and to prayfor peace in Sudan.
The celebrations, which were punctuated with a lot of Music and dance was a mark of unity for all the Christian denominations.
Pastor Rose Kakai, the pastor in charge of United Evangelical Church in Kyangwali said that the memories of the suffering of Christ inspiredher to rededicate her life to God’s service. Pastor Kakai said that it was
good for the churches of God to bear no rivalry against each other but to do the work of Christ together.
She further said that the heart of togetherness is the only sword to Win peace for the people of Sudan.
